The story (also called rambling)
I was trying to make a journal css for the contest *devCRIT are hosting, and it turned out great, but I came to the conclusion that it would be better to do something else for them - anyway, in that layout I made this little emote running over the stars we can now give in the critique system, and it really turned out cute :) The emote is highly inspired by *devCRIT's icon: :icondevcrit:

I will probably make a stamp like this for *devCRIT as well.

have I mentioned *devCRIT?

This emoticon caught my eye the first time I saw it. When I first saw the thumbnail for it, I wondered what the point behind it was. Then I clicked on it. I was impressed by the idea behind it, and I love the way that you incorporated the score into your animation. This emoticon and journal graphic is a delight to watch, and the way that you animated the the scores is awesome. You really have a gift for that sort of thing, and I'll be keeping my eyes open for more of your work. There is one thing about it that I'd like to see you improve, though. I would like to see the emoticon climb back up to the top or something rather than fly or use an invisible grappling hook. In all, it's an extremely good emoticon, and I had to really search for something that bugged me about it.
