Just the font color of the mood section could be a bit darker imo. Would be easier to read then. Great piece again -- *eCSSited | #GinkgoGarden |

Visual aspects
Your design has a really fresh look to it
The use of soft and well balanced colours make it very appealing in a non-obstructive manner.
On top of that you did a stunning job vectoring this!
I really had a hard time finding anything to critique.
These are the minor things I found (being a real pixel-peeper).
The titles don't draw a great amount of attention to them. They do bring structure in the journal making clearly seperated 'chapters' but try this:
To me those are the blue block around 'Devious Journal Entry' and the '100% Diary Free' 'Contains Omega 6 and 3' tags.
Perhaps you would want to make these titles stand out more.
Also the first of the blue stripes on the straw is slightly distorted and is not a perfect continuation of the other stripes.
Note: I realise these are not neccesarily flaws and could have been design choices.
User experience
The setup of your journal skin is really user friendly.
I installed the skin, copied some dummy text without any HTML, hit the preview button and there we have a complete journal. It works 'out of the box' so to say!
But of course I wanted to test all of the available features so I refered to the artist's comments to find the HTML needed for optional markup.
Again it was a piece of cake, the code is copy paste ready and not confusing at all making minimal use of <div class=""> structures.
The only thing that actually required some careful looking was changing the content of the stickers.
If you really want it to be a 100% 'fool proof' I would suggest to make some minor edits in the layout of the footer that it is as comprehensive as the rest of the skin.
But again this is a minor detail and it pleases me to see such simple usage!
The one thing that I personally was missing was a link to a live preview.
In my opinion Journal Skins, being code, cannot be completely displayed with just a screenshot.
Just a minor edit to the artist's comments but a lot of convinience for your fellow deviant
Technical aspects
The technical side is the only part that has a major problem. This skin simply is not compatable with Internet Explorer.
Even though a lot of deviants made the wise descicion to use a better browser then IE, there are still many people out there that use it.
When browsing throught the CSS I didn't find any underscores to add IE specific attributes.
In case you were not aware of this CSS 'hack' I can say its one of the most effective ways of making your CSS work the same way in IE.
You can read more about the underscore hack here.
When switching back to Firefox there is just one small problem left. On the smaller resolutions (including the common 1280 width resolutions) a small bit of the glass will be cut off on the right.
However this does not mess up the journal and therefor is just another small detail. For more details on graphics dimentions this is one of my favourite tutorials: [link]
Conclusion
The outstanding design and user friendly implementation of this journal skin completely outweighs the few flaws I was able to find.
Any subscriber can have this elegant skin on their journals requiring No HTML knowlegde at all!
All hail =brgtt for her great work on this!
