How to get your own custumized journal layout:
I realise it looks like a lot of work, but really it isn't. Just follow the steps and you'll be done in no time at all ;)

1. Make your own Fella with the Fella Maker - take a screenshot of your creation and copy it to your image editor of choice.

2. Install the journal skin (get it here) and start a new journal - choose the skin.

3. In the image editor (I use photoshop) Use the eyedrop tool to get the hex decimal color code and replace the code in the css where it says:

.gr-genericbox {
background-color:#5d3463;
}

so if your colour code is "ff0000" (red) it would look like this:

.gr-genericbox {
background-color:#ff0000;
}

3. save your image as .png for web in photoshop you do that by going to file> save for web and devices, choose preset>png-24 and press save.

4. upload your image to an image host and copy the image url

5. Replace the image url with your image url in the css where it says:

.gr-top {
background-image:url([link]);
}

so if your image url is "http://myimage.imageshack.org/" it would look like this:

.gr-top {
background-image:url(http://myimage.imageshack.org/);
}

6. write your journal!
- to make boxes with shadows use

<div class="box_shadow"><div class="box_">Your content here</div></div>

- to make titles write

<strong>Your title here</strong>

- to center content write:
<div align="center">Your content or thumbs here</div>

7. Press Submit!

I've never seen one of these before,and I was hoping for a little bit more creativity.This expresses Fella's personality fairly well,but not as much as I would have hoped. Great work,though it needs a bit more options. Like in the *more* category and the *eyes*category as well.All of the categories need a few more.He needs a few more expressions.Fella has a very colorful personality,and that should be expressed more in this,but beside that it's very good.I appreciate your effort. I had fun making my Fella.I hope I can see more from you in the near future.

This is one of the coolest flashes I've seen on the site. Who doesn't want their own Fella, after all? :D

Anyway, I think there's a nice variety of stuff here, and the things in "more" were fun (so was changing the background color). Though I also think there could have been just one or two more foot and eye options, since there were a lot of choices for hands and mouths.

However, other than that, this is a great tool and a nice dA-birthday-gift. The little cake was quite cute, although it would be fun if you could change the cake color too.
