How to change the icon and username
In your journal page click the "options" tab (it located in the top) go into the header and find where it says :iconusername: and :devusername: - change username to your username.

How to put stuf in the sidebar menu
Also in the header section find where it says:

the links look like this:

change # to the url you want the link to point to and "Link one" to the name of your link. you can repeat the code as many times as you want.

the two thumbs are stamps - change them with stamps of your own liking.

remember that the sidebar is only as long as your journal entry, so don't overfill it

how to change the text underneath the journal entry
go into the footer and find this:
